It is with sadness and sincere gratitude that we share the news of the passing of Rev. Jerrold F. Beaumont. Jerry Beaumont’s vision nearly 40 years ago for Faith in Action is a powerful testament to his understanding of the needs of people in our community. “Father Jerry” understood that the need existed among our neighbors and that through community support, people’s most basic needs could be met. Insightfully, he saw that even with support, the need would continue to exist far into the future, and so a permanent FIA building was built in partnership with the hospital and the community. As we open our doors each morning to the people we now serve, we feel grateful for Rev. Beaumont and all who shared his vision.
